Happy Birthday to me

My blog post after so many months .. I got in to work early today so I get to post a bit before the system firewall me ..

My birthday this year starts with a very unusual incident .. woken up by weird sound from my dining area at 2:30pm, found out Jerry -- a rat that has been camping out in my house (I named it after Tom and Jerry cartoon), it was stealing the food on the table under the meal cover. Woke my bro up then execution performed brutally by mom and dad .. by spraying insect repellant then poured it with boiled water ..

Goodbye Jerry!! RIP!! Thank you for freaking me out in my own house these past few weeks ..

OHI message at auto session

It was pouring bad during the Leehom's new album auto session. This is a glimpse of umbrellas ocean during the session.

We were told to send Leehom a message which we will be posted on the LED banner and this was arranged by fans.

We of course sent our greetings, little than we know it is now up on wangleehom.com website :D

OHIers, Leehom loves us hahahahahah ...

An unexpected trip ...

I've been planning on this trip for quite sometimes now but with the cancellation of MM HK concert, it got postponed to uncertainty, 'till finally Ling told me about her plan on catching the last stop of Mayday DNA Unlimited DNA concert in Taichung on 24 July 2010. So I thought why don't I just arrange on the trip about the same time at her, so we can hang out there together though I'm not gonna watch the concert but I haven't seen her more than a year.

So anyway, after back and forth plans, finally deciding on the trips and just when I was about the finalize everything including issuing the ticket and re-confirming everything, a piece of news released that Leehom is gonna hold an auto session of his first directorial movie pictorial book on 31 Jul. Initially I planned on leaving on 30 Jul to HK, I quickly changed it.

The surprise didn't stop there. In much anticipation of his new album, another piece of news came that he will also holding an auto session of his upcoming new album on 25 Jul and everything just comes together. I wouldn't even dream of attending one of his auto session in Taiwan, and now I have two.

So far I've attended 4 overseas concerts (HOE SG, 2 MM Taipei and 1 MM Malaysia), 1 auto session and 1 fan meeting in Singapore and I've been dreaming on going to his auto session in his own country and I didn't expected it's gonna be this soon ..

And as I'm writing this, I'm now in Taipei and about to head to Kaoshiung. It should be my 5th day in Taipei. I've attended his new album auto session. It started as a great sunny day but the rain ruined one perfect day. I went up to greet him so soaked and smelly 'cos of the rain and damp. Well, everybody did .. we were disappointed and sad and rather pissed at the same time. But looking at his face, his smile and how he treated us fans so nice, every angers and disappointment we had earlier poof -- GONE!

I had so many things I wanna say and express to him, but he was so busy answering questions and signing at the same time. So, I didn't care as I know that he's there in front of me, smiling and still being who he is. And at the end, as fulfilling one fan request of singing 公轉自轉, he sang it in front of me which I took it as my personal concert :D

He's one great International superstar, but yet when it comes to certain things, he still know where to put himself as a person specially in front of his fans. He is still this down to earth, low key and humble guy as all of his fans know him from 15 years ago when he first released his album.

Popularity doesn't seem to change everybody .. we have one good example here. And I'm so proud to call Leehom my idol, my hero, my role model. You still make my heart race indeed and once again you've never once failed me.

Keep our world turning homie ...

Weibo-ing with Lee Hom

Today at 4pm (taiwan time) Lee Hom held an online chatting with fans all over the world regarding his upcoming first directorial movie Love in Disguise (戀愛通告) which is scheduled to be launched to the public on 12 August 2010 -- above photo was taken at the beginning of the chatting (damn, I really want his Apple lappy). Anyway, of course I couldn't participate, other that I don't have account at SINA, I also can't get on there during working hours .. hopefully some of my friends Qs were answered?

On that topic, I'm planning on having a trip to Taiwan and HK at the end of July. It's kinda my paying-off trip for MM HK concert cancellation, so I thought I won't see LH this year but I got to hang out with my gal pal which I haven't seen for a year and at the same time having a break and enjoying the beautiful Taiwan.

Little than I know, few days ago, a good friend of mine dreamt about me and according to her mom the dream meant that I would receive a good surprise. All I could say was AMEN! Then 2 days ago bloodbubble told me about Lee Hom's autograph session for the movie book on 31 July (I was suppose to leave for HK on 30 July). Hell no I would miss it for the world .. so after gather up confirmation info, I quickly changed all my itinerary and extend my stays to see LH. And now happy to announce that I'm good to go! ^^

Love in Disguise? Well, bless in disguise :D I'll be seeing him afterall ..

Now .. I wonder, will it shown in Indo? *tapping fingers*

Lovin' Eclipse

I totally lovin' Eclipse .. yes, I'm a twilight fan. I remember reading the whole Twilight Saga books within a month of my Christmas break in 2007, it was madness. I couldn't put the book down.

I watched Twilight on movie before drowning with the books .. so far I'm lovin' both book and movie Eclipse, in particular the fighting scenes where the Cullens and the Packs work together as team to kill off the newborns lead by victoria. It was so awesome and detailed. Praise to David Slade for not cutting too much details of the book and delivering the stories beautiful into the big screen.

And I'm also so lovin' Jacob .. well Taylor Lautner to be exact :D. Character wise I kinda prefer Edward, the sweet and romantic vampire. Jacob is living a hard life which make him the tough character. But I suppose now I love them both equally, unlike Bella who choose Edward more .. I can't choose LOL.

Looking forward for Breaking Dawn.

I'm so gonna watch 2nd or maybe 3rd time of Eclipse then I'll re-read the book again :D

One Month Later ..

This is my first entry in June and after 1 month .. my last blog was Leehom's birthday. Yeah, 'cos apparently blogspot is recently blocked at work and I don't really get online at home much anymore, so no choice .. no blogs from me. Sorry my regular reader!

Surprisingly today - for some reason blogspot, twitter, even facebook are released so gotta use the chance to blog something ..

Nothing much happening with me, nothing grand. Except of my vacation plan with Ling, Tika and Lia to Taiwan and Hong Kong in end of July. It's been over a year since I last saw Ling, looking forward to hang out with her again .. hope everything run smoothly. And I'm looking forward to explore Taiwan more .. it's gonna be fun.

More news that I have to cancel my plan to attend my best friend's wedding for some personal reason. Oh well, too bad! But at least I've seen him last year so it ain't too bad. Wish him the best of happiness.

Ok, other than that .. Leehom is scheduled to release his first directorial movie in 13 Aug, which he wrote and acted at the same time -- looking forward to see that too, though I kinda doubt that it will be showed here. Oh well, DVD then.

Here is a little teaser .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAduVt3n4LM

And also I'm so looking forward to his new album which suppose to be the soundtrack for the movie. Hmmm ... :D

Ok, I think that's it for now .. just hope blogger will keep open here at the office network :)

Toodles people! See you when I see you next ..

Customer Leehom

Imagine the situation, in your boring daily job with stacks of paperworks and endless questions from clients or customers, Leehom shows up with that sweet smile and humble look ..

get stunned? of course
speechless? definitely.
Pass out?! possible :D
giving special treatment or discount? perhaps with something in return most likely

But this thing that happen in the ad?! Unlikely ^^

Eclipse Trailer

The Twilight Saga - Eclipse will be on theater 30 June .. here is a sneak peak .. can't wait for this. The last episode 'Breaking Dawn' will be divided by 2 parts .. I wonder who's gonna be Edward and Bella's daughter ..

Happy Birthday Homie

Well, this is my first entry in May .. I promised that I'll blog more, but too bad blogspot is blocked completely at work. Unlike facebook or twitter which are released after 6pm - end office hour .. so I gotta blog from home which I hardly get online once I get home.

So anyway, I have to blog today 'cos it's Homie's 34 birthday today and also OHI's 4th Anniversary .. special huh?! :D

Today, all the Leehomers around the world who is on twitter is trending #Happy34Leehom and trying to make it into top ten on twitter. Who knows by doing so, he will make his own personal twitter account .. and the world knows more about Leehom.

I went to his facebook this morning and yes, he posted a pic .. last year was him eating chocolate with his own name. This year, something different ... he doesn't seem to age at all and with his messy hair, bed room look, in front of his lappy as always .. what are you doing there homie?! surprise for us?! :D or creating more great works

And this is his message: "Oh my, who's birthday is it today?! Wish me happy birthday Facebookers! 臉書們 祝我生日快樂! 哈哈 開心很重要。。。wish you are all HAPPY!"

Hmmm, you're wishing us happy?! We are all wishing you happy .. :D

So homie, from across the miles, I'm wishing you a great Happy Birthday, all the best for everything .. looking forward for your great works, talents and of course seeing you in action. God bless and have a marvelous day! Take care .. and missing you badly! ^^

But I promise I'll get back into it soon .. heard some good news next month, hopefully I'll get to update my blog more often! So stay tuned my regular readers!

New Book List

There has been lots and lots of books coming to movies, some are them are worth to watch and read, some are not.

And to those of you who loves to read, obviously know that it's better to watch the movie then read the book instead of the other way around .. you're so gonna be disappointed. I have a bit of fair share on that one, so mark my words! Unless if the book came out way before it was made movie.

So anyway, here is my new book list after I watch the movie ..

1. Dear John by Nicholas Sparks -- no doubt a fantastic writer.

2. Julie & Julia -- seriously I didn't know it was a true story 'till I finished watching the movie today. *you call yourself a bookie Net?! Tsk tsk*

3. When in Rome -- I've been meaning to buy this book, but when I heard it's gonna be on movie, I postpone on buying.

Btw, I was just looking through my book collections the other day, WOW, I actually have over 20 books that I haven't read. Tsk tsk!!

Well, that's just me .. I mean I love reading, just the time that I don't have. I carry 1 book at least everywhere, even to work 'cos 1 hour journey is just perfect to catch up on my reading. But sadly the bus ride to work is always packed, so no way I can enjoy stand reading and get squeeze by people.

So everytime I browse around bookstore and find something I like, I buy it, plastic cover it and just store it in my bookshelf without knowing when exactly I'll be able to read it.

Man, I gotta stop buying for the time being and actually read those I bought.

Someone from the Past

It's really rare for me to dream about this one particular guy .. I don't think of him much though he was once lighten my days back in uni. But something happened between us, our relationship never got better since then. I didn't even call him when I was back in Sydney last December, 'cos I didn't know what to expect and I didn't even know whether I want to or not .. I have him in my facebook list but we never actually in contacts.

I guess I could say that he was the 2nd guy I let myself to be close with just few months after I arrived in Wollongong and maybe the 1st guy I let myself fall .. deep!

For the whole year, 5 days a week were filled by him. Not so much on weekends, 'cos he had to spend times with his family. But they were special .. though I never really knew how he felt about me, but I didn't care .. I wasn't looking for love-relationship, I guess I was more of finding companionship and he was there and he cared! We've been through a lot .. kinda sad that things didn't work out well. Even I couldn't have him as someone special, but I would love to have him as a friend .. but can't avoid the fact that we just don't belong together, even as a friend.

This was my blog entry through friendster back in August 2005 when I had dream about him (btw, he has got a son yet, he's not even married -- 'till now). I remember back then I had just get re-in touch with him through another friend. I thought we could get back what we have lost, we did for a while, but who knew .. just a slight argument, we were back to square one.

Anyway, I dreamt of him last night, after .. wow 5 years?! we were back in our beloved UOW for some kind of event. It wasn't a reunion 'cos we were from different department and he was 1 year ahead of me .. but there were some familiar faces there. I can't remember the dream specifically but it was sweet. We were normal, we were friends and we laughed. As he always brought laughters to me back then.

So YOU .. I know where you are and I know that you're happy right now .. but I still hope things would have been better between us. All the best to you for everything ..

Fish Rain From Sky in Australia

1 March 2010 - Lajamanu, Australia - Weather experts said the fish that fell on a remote Australian town for two days had likely been sucked up by a thunderstorm before falling to the ground.

Residents of Lajamanu said hundreds of small white fish, believed to be common spangled perch, fell from the sky during the weekend despite the town's location 326 miles from the nearest river, The Sun reported. Locals said many of the fish were still alive when they hit the ground.

Mark Kersemakers, a senior forecaster with the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, said the fish could have been transported by a storm system.

"It could have scooped the fish up 40,000 to 50,000 feet in the air," he said. "Once they get up into the system they are pretty much frozen. After some period they are released."

Locals said it has rained fish in the town twice before, in 1974 and 2004.

Dear John

"This movie tells the story of John Tyree (Channing Tatum), a young soldier home on leave, and Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the couple is separated by Johns increasingly dangerous deployments. While meeting only sporadically, they stay in touch by sending a continuous stream of love letters overseas--correspondence that eventually triggers fateful consequences".Quoted from Hollywoodstreams on youtube

I love this movie .. other that 'cos of Channing Tatum, of course, (GOSH, he's HOT) but Nicholas Sparks, the writer, has never failed in delivering good, romantic, meaningful and touching stories. Dear John was adapted from a book and the writer has successfully bringing few of his books to the big screen, such Message in a Bottle, Nights at Rodanthe, The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Horse's Whisperer and another coming soon movie The Last Song with Miley Cyrus as the main actress. Amazing!

If you're looking for something tear breaker movie and kinda touch your feeling, this is the movie. It's simple love story but it really hit you .. so enjoy my fellow moviegoers. This is definitely worth it and I definitely getting the book.

When in Rome

Movie List 2010 keeps on and on .. this one looks funny and Josh Duhmel, damn! You're HOT man!!

First Bollywood Movie

Last week a friend asked me to watch 3 idiots - Indian movie which reviewed to be very funny and pretty good. It also said to be the "highest grossing Bollywood movie of all time" I was reluctant at first, but coming from an American guy, I was really curious myself. This is my first Bollywood Movie ever watch .. I heard about quite a lot Bollywood movies with good stories and great actors, but no offense, I just couldn't stand the singing and dancing.

So out of curiousity, 7 of us watched this 3 hours long movie .. and it was really good. I then talked into couple of colleagues in watching it and they all love it too. There were dancing and singing, I suppose it's a package deal with the whole movie, but the story was really good. There were lots of funny scenes but there were also lots of touching moments and full of lesson in life .. motto in life "aal izz well" -- of course it means All Is Well!!

And surprisingly the songs are catchy and acceptable to my ear, in fact I'm getting addicted to one of the songs .. hear for yourself. You might like it, you might not .. but so far it stucks in my head .. and this actually the complete scenes of the movie.

More Snoopy from SR

My gal pal showed me this SR Snoopy new design wore my Ashin sometimes last week .. I immediately like it, it's long sleeves though but it's really cute. I asked her to inform me if it's out and now it's on sale for NT1480. Me want ..

It's a quite expensive for a tee .. but SR stuffs price range are quite high. That should explain the quality, so anyway .. Tika ... titip!! :D

Soothing Expression

I love his expression here .. he looks so normal with his hair down without any gel what-so ever and wearing normal clothes doing what he loves best -- music. This LH's look that I like when he takes off all his artist attribute and being a normal New Yorker homie .. this is indeed a rare moment to be captured.

Missing the Scott's Boys

I've lost track of One Tree Hill Season 7 .. it is now has reached to Episode 17, I stopped watching on youtube on Episode 7. Sad thing is that youtube only keeps per episode within 24 hours after it aired on TV. I guess I have to wait 'till the DVD is out ..

I miss Nathan and Jamie .. I miss Lucas too but he's not in Season 7. I miss the Scott's :(

Meet Hershey

My cousin's dog .. he's so smart and well-trained. And his eyes are so big. He's a fun dog to play with, he doesn't bark much but he is very jumpy ..

Yes, his name is Hershey .. like the chocolate :D

Stay Real and Snoopy

Stay Real is releasing new design with Snoopy all around .. so cute!! But I have too many tee already, must stop buying for the time being, at least 'till I get rid off and clear out my wardrobe.

And if only Stay Real reduce its price .. they have cool design and suggestion from my gal pal than the jeans is really nice, I wanna try the suspender jeans .. nice isn't it?! But the price ain't nice! Ashin, be nice!

Where is Everybody?

The office is empty .. it feels like weekend, and it's not even Friday .. where is everybody? And may am I the only left here? I should be out too ..

Valentine's Day

This year Valentine's Day falls on the same day as Chinese New Year, which is a Sunday, which means no public holiday for us .. shoot!! But anyway, I'll be taking 2 days off for some Jakarta touring with bunch of friends.

But what I'm looking forward for Valentine's Day is this movie .. and also Lee Hom & Jackie Chan's new movie 大兵小將 -- whenever that is, still now news 'till now. Normally Jackie's movie will come out quite fast, don't know about this one.

Anyway, this Valentine's Day movie simply follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine's Day, with heaps of major Hollywood Actors and actress such as Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift.

Some of the actors and actress are my fave .. so yes, I'm so looking forward for this. And there are quite good movies this year .. YAY!! :D

Here is the trailer if interested

Busy Musicman

Lee Hom has been extremely busy with his movie promotion, directing his own movie and preparing new album .. not to mention he's still continuing his Musicman tour in China. He had his last MM concert in Quanzhou, Fujian which supposed to be last year November, but moved back to last weekend - 7 Feb 2010.

No doubt he has been spreading his wings in Greater China .. before his concert in Fujian, he attended Little Big Soldier 大兵小將 in Beijing with Jackie Chan on 3 Feb then made appearance at the Beijing Pop Music Ceremony on 5 Feb and swapped 5 awards that night.

He won

1. 年度最佳作曲獎 (春雨裏洗過的太陽) Composer of the Year for Spring Rain Washed the Sun
2. 年度最大制作人大獎 (心跳) Best Producer of the Year for Heart.Beat
3. 年度金曲獎 (春雨裏洗過的太陽) Song of the Year Award for Spring Rain Washed the Sun
4. 年度全能藝人大獎 Artist of the Year
5. 年度最受歡迎男歌手 Favorite Male Singer

Go homie!! You're still my No. 1 hero!!

Tear-breaker movie

Synopsis

This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love.

Personal note.

I'm still in-deciding whether to watch this movie or not, 'cos like Marley & Me this is movie is gonna be tear-breaker movie .. worse than Marley & Me for sure. Even by reading the synopsis plus knowing the true story, I already started to cry. So if I decided to watch this movie, I have to get ready with lots of tissue or even a bucket and baggy eyes when I come out.

I love dogs but the reason why I don't own dogs, other than I don't have the place to have it, I can't bear the feeling when I lose it .. dogs and their owner have a very strong emotional connection, so rather than experiencing those feeling over and over, I choose not to own one. Luckily my fave dog is Golden Retriever, which is quite a pity to own it in the tropical country like Indo ..

Home office

This looks so comfy .. wearing your room slippers, pyjamas with glass of coffee and sitting in front of you computer at home. Working from home sounds so drooling for me right now, well not so much of working .. but perhaps the thought of having home office sounds so appealing :D

I-Pad anyone?

Apple new gadget .. the next generation of I-Phone, but there hasn't been quite a good review on this product, so we'll see.

I still prefer I-Phone though, this I-Pad is too squarish. Yeah, as if I have the budget to own this thing LOL.

Bandung Outing

Our TM Group went for yearly outing in Bandung on Saturday, 30 Jan 2010 .. thanks to beautiful day and nice weather, we managed to get to Rumah Stroberi for some strawberry picking.

Strawberries and more strawberries .. sweet!!

After strawberry picking, growling stomach ready to be filled. We went to Sapu Lidi for some Sundanese food, delicious and cheap. The place was alright, it could look nicer if they clean up a bit, it was rather dirty, but overal it was alright.

The hut is the dining table .. the size is depending on how big is the table. So one party will accommodate one hut. It's really traditional ...

And finally the food ... yummmooooo!!

Now I know why I have sore eyes and neck everyday.

Huang Liu Hong

Well, minus the huang ..

Beautiful Sunset

It was like a blazing fire up in the sky .. it might looks scary but it's actually very beautiful. Another natural phenomena .. thank you God for beautiful day today.

Let the puzzle begins

I bought these two puzzles in Hong Kong last month, haven't got around to do it 'till 2 weekends. I made 3000 pieces one before back in uni, 'cos it was a masterpiece and took forever to do it, I framed it nicely. But by the end of uni year, I couldn't bring it back 'cos it was too big and bulky.

So this time I bought just 300 pieces puzzle box .. little that I realized this Suzy's Zoo design has micro size puzzle which is very very tiny. It was said to be the smallest puzzle size in the world .. OMG!!

This was last week position .. I'll take a photo of my current position tonight .. long way to go.

Today's Weather

The weather has been pretty crazy lately, I guess it's all around the world .. one minute it's raining, the next minute (yes, minute) it stops and the sun comes out.

Moviegoers

I like watching movies at the cinema, as an ex Media students I might not be so much of moviegoers, 'cos I don't particular watch specific genre, whatever I think it's interested me to watch, I would just go. I like the big screen, the surround sound and definitely like the atmosphere of cinema instead watching movie at home.

In 2009 I watched 31 movies in the cinema, it was 35 movies in 2008, that was like 3 movies per month -- more or less. I have to watch more -- I remember back in uni I could actually go to the movies like 5 days a week.

I have watched movies from the year 1800 when it was still silent movie 'till the most boring movie ever. One of my final assignments, I had to watch 20 Australian movies from the early 1900 'till the recent one and had to write a review for each one. And during the Academy Award Nomination period, I also had to watch those nominations which usually aren't so great to watch, in fact some of them were painful to watch. What made them nominated? I absolutely no idea LOL ^^

Anyway those days have passed. I don't need to hurt myself watching movies anymore .. I get to enjoy them now :D

The 2009 movie lists:

1. Bride Wars
2. Marley & Me
3. Push
4. Confessions of a Shopaholic
5. Dragon Ball Evolution
6. Shinjuku Incident
7. The Fast & The Furious (2 times)

Happy New Year

It's the New Year already .. Happy New Year. May this year brings each and everyone of you more happiness, health, wealth and luck! All the best.

Have you set out your 2010's Resolutions yet?!

18 days of my holiday has ended 4 days ago and I've been slacking with the blog posting .. other that I have to catch up on my works, unpacking and most importantly my sleep debt. I have never felt so sleep deprived like this as I'm not an easy sleeper, I have to adjust with new bed at least 2 nights but in this trip I moved around so much, I didn't enough time to adjust, I have to move.

HK Apartment (4 nights) - Brian's House (2 nights) - Metro Hotel (4 nights) - Four Seasons (1 night) - Crown Plaza (2 nights) - Four Season (1 night) - Happy Valley, HK (2 nights).

I packed and unpacked a lot too in this trip and we bought so much stuffs, we were overweight for all the trips, crazy!

Anyway, I haven't finished unpack .. most of my stuffs I bought are still on the box or luggage. I managed to upload the photos in Facebook today, so please do check them out. As for my journal and blog entry .. be patience, I'll get around with it soon.
For my frequent and silent readers, thank you for all your support in 2009. I'll try to post and share more in 2010. So God helps me LOL.

Happy New Year people! :)
