This year Valentine's Day falls on the same day as Chinese New Year, which is a Sunday, which means no public holiday for us .. shoot!! But anyway, I'll be taking 2 days off for some Jakarta touring with bunch of friends.
But what I'm looking forward for Valentine's Day is this movie .. and also Lee Hom & Jackie Chan's new movie 大兵小將 -- whenever that is, still now news 'till now. Normally Jackie's movie will come out quite fast, don't know about this one.
Anyway, this Valentine's Day movie simply follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine's Day, with heaps of major Hollywood Actors and actress such as Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift.
Some of the actors and actress are my fave .. so yes, I'm so looking forward for this. And there are quite good movies this year .. YAY!! :D
Lee Hom has been extremely busy with his movie promotion, directing his own movie and preparing new album .. not to mention he's still continuing his Musicman tour in China. He had his last MM concert in Quanzhou, Fujian which supposed to be last year November, but moved back to last weekend - 7 Feb 2010.
No doubt he has been spreading his wings in Greater China .. before his concert in Fujian, he attended Little Big Soldier 大兵小將 in Beijing with Jackie Chan on 3 Feb then made appearance at the Beijing Pop Music Ceremony on 5 Feb and swapped 5 awards that night.
He won
1. 年度最佳作曲獎 (春雨裏洗過的太陽) Composer of the Year for Spring Rain Washed the Sun 2. 年度最大制作人大獎 (心跳) Best Producer of the Year for Heart.Beat 3. 年度金曲獎 (春雨裏洗過的太陽) Song of the Year Award for Spring Rain Washed the Sun 4. 年度全能藝人大獎 Artist of the Year 5. 年度最受歡迎男歌手 Favorite Male Singer
This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love.
Personal note.
I'm still in-deciding whether to watch this movie or not, 'cos like Marley & Me this is movie is gonna be tear-breaker movie .. worse than Marley & Me for sure. Even by reading the synopsis plus knowing the true story, I already started to cry. So if I decided to watch this movie, I have to get ready with lots of tissue or even a bucket and baggy eyes when I come out.
I love dogs but the reason why I don't own dogs, other than I don't have the place to have it, I can't bear the feeling when I lose it .. dogs and their owner have a very strong emotional connection, so rather than experiencing those feeling over and over, I choose not to own one. Luckily my fave dog is Golden Retriever, which is quite a pity to own it in the tropical country like Indo ..
This looks so comfy .. wearing your room slippers, pyjamas with glass of coffee and sitting in front of you computer at home. Working from home sounds so drooling for me right now, well not so much of working .. but perhaps the thought of having home office sounds so appealing :D
daydreamer, trying to be a happy go lucky girl, easy going person, a bit tomboy, loud and high temper sometimes. afraid of heights, blood and snake. i love music, making friends and sleep. but overall i think i am an OK person and i like to have fun
