Left-over Awesomeness

I wasn't a big concert fans .. in fact before 2005, I've only been to less than 10 concerts -- NKOTB in 1992, some Aussie bands festival in 2000, Human Nature mini concert in 2001 and F4 in 2003 when they came to Jakarta. So that's FOUR concerts I've been to in my entire life. I don't like crowded places and I easily get dizzy seeing too many people.

Now, after being LH's fan .. I've been to 5 of his concerts, 1 Heroes of Earth Singapore, Sands Concert, 2 Music Man Taipei and 1 Music Man Malaysia. Other than that, I've been to Guang Liang, David Tao and Backstreet Boys. It still little of course, but I'm getting there.

I beginning to enjoy the crowd -- different crowd and what I like best about concert is the atmosphere where everybody are so HIGH and scream their heart out when they see their fave artist perform LIVE on stage .. it was just awesome. I love all the concerts I've been to so far .. LH and David Tao were the best.

These were few that captured from stage of 2 Music Man concerts I've been and they were the biggest concert I've been in my life YET :D

Lee Hom has indeed taken me to various places, I've never imagined flying to watch concert and yet I'm happy for it. I get to accomplish my travelling desire, experience new things and see his concert at the same time. I'm not stopping now .. :D
What's next?!

Happy Birthday Homie

Yesterday, 17 May 2009 was Lee Hom's 33rd Birthday as well as OurHome Indo 3rd anniversary. He held a Campus Concert in Taizhong the day before where all his worldwide official fans clubs have made him video birthday greeting as a surprised to be played there. Sadly enough that ours was left out for some reason .. I'm still trying to find out why ours was excluded. I'm quite disappointed and sad of course, but I'm sure there is a reason behind it and I'm gonna find out why.

Happy Birthday Homie and OurHome Indo

The 2009 Golden Melody Awards nomination list has just been released, Music-Man received 2 nominations under "Best Male Performer" and "Best song Arrangement for Wo Wan Quan Mei You Ren He Li You Li Ni" where he actually composed the song to tease those award/music judges. He personally said that "I used the least amount of time to arrange the song. I didn't expect it to get nominated. This is a great birthday present."

Golden Melody Awards is the Taiwan Version of Grammy Award, it's the most prestige award ceremony for music industry. And every year we are hoping that Lee Hom will get nominated and win the award. So far I think he received life 5-6 awards ..

I'm a little disappointed, he should have get nomination in Best Producer and Best Album too .. instead Jay received numerous nominations where most of his albums sound exactly the same. Oh well .. I don't know how they rate the nominations, I guess that's why LH wrote the song .. but anyway, Good Luck Homie!! :D

New 17 inch monitor

Last month my boss announced new policy using 2 monitors to make our works easier. I kindly turned down the offer, I like things in old-fashioned way, computer with 1 monitor is more than enough. Instead I requested for bigger monitor, so here is the new look of my, with new 17 inch monitor, I can blast out better and bigger Music-Man wallpaper.

Totally Must See Movie

The first Transformer Movie has blown me away for good, and this upcoming Transformer - Revenge of the Fallen is totally bomb! Put any talented Director with Steven Spielberg, it definitely gonna be AWESOME movie.

Presented the trailer of Transformer by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg .. WOW!!

Made in Malaysia

There were 2 things on top of my shopping list when I went to KL, IKEA Lamp and "Home Rules" book by Nate Berkus, which I've checked upon my departure that Kino KL still holds a copy. I've been looking for the book for a while now, since Oprah promoted it in her show. So anyway, I got the lamp, but not the book. The 1 copy left in Kino was nowhere to be found :( Oh well .. though Renny said she found one in Kino SG, but she hasn't confirmed anything ever since she came back, I wonder if she actually got it? Hmmm ...

And FINALLY I have table lamp again, after for almost 1 year I didn't have any table lamp. I did all my desk related matters in bed. And it only cost RM45 .. nice ey?!

Another things I planned to get was VNC shoes, though it wasn't really priority, but several friends said they're cheap 'cos it's Malaysian brand. Well, I didn't find anything good .. though Lia, Santi and Renny grabbed more than 1 pairs. So either I was in high taste where I didn't think the models were any good or I just simply wasn't looking? 'cos seriously all the VNC shops we went pass were all packed, I suppose that kinda reduced my shopping mood. I walked around KLCC instead without shopping anything.

Yesterday I bought these pairs of sandals at local VNC, my first pink sandals. I eyed on these pairs before I left for KL, thinking I would be getting better models - I'm in need of flat sandals, I can't go to work with Converse all the time right? :D and when I looked at the bottom, it's made in Malaysia. So much for travelling to the country LOL.

Autographed Celebration Album anyone?

Since we have few OHI representative in Taiwan, we managed to grab most of LH's autographed albums easily, which of course they won't mind 'cos they can stay longer on the stage while LH signing the albums and all of us who didn't get the opportunity to be at the session will be happy too received an autograph album .. so thanks to you guys!

Yesterday these came in mail from Taiwan .. long waited Gai Ban Version of 心.跳 -- 8 of them, though too bad all the autographs were smudged. Normally his autograph would be just his "messy" chinese name, but surprisingly he added "Lee Hom" on the autograph, though it's incomplete. But not bad .. :D

I'm hoping to get his full autograph with the smiley face someday :)

Sunshine After the Rain

It was raining heavily last night, so paranoid for the flood .. I couldn't sleep 'till 12am, managed to send my friend early birthday wish 'till finally I dozed off at don't know what time 'till LH's voice awake me .. it was still cloudy when I woke up this morning .. hmmm, another cloudy day I thought.
Reluctantly, I got up and get ready. When I stepped out, I saw this beautiful rainbow above the sky. One of God's greatest creation .. thank God for the beautiful day.
And now .. it's hot and sunny out there.

Music-Man has conquered Malaysia

I just got back to work after 5 days away in KL to see Music-Man conquer Malaysia. Bukit Jalil Stadium witnessed the incredible Music-Man ... It's been almost 8 months since Music-Man came out to save the music world. I miss you Music-Man.

Though he was a little bit rusty after leaving the stage for few months due to filming 大兵小將, he still managed to leave 25,000 fans that night with big gasp and thousands of WOWs!! Overall the concert was amazing ..

28 songs were delivered beautifully in 2 1/2 hours time with range of various genres .. rock, pop, ballads, chinked out. The concert was opened by 2 Malaysian singers .. though the concert was rather strict, it actually worse than Taipei concert and the securities were rude, pushing us - girls like animals! Hello, we are humans, moreover, we are women, please show us some respect! It's not like we tried to hurt him or something .. sigh!!
I've seen 2 of Music-Man concerts in Taipei, but he still stunned me with his violin playing 落葉歸根. I was hypnotized with the song, I couldn't even move eyes from him, it was simply the best. In fact I was stunned in many ways ..
Music-Man .. you are truly my lifetime superhero. Don't stop fighting for the music world to its core.
Thank you for being part of my world :)
